The Hollonville Opry is the perfect place for a Bluegrass Celebration
Author: SEBA Board of Directors (Jul 14, 2005)
You are invited to a party!! SEBA is 21 years old and having a celebration, and what better place than Hollonville Opry.
In 1991, a group of ?back porch pickers? made Hollonville Opry a dream and a mission. These 20 or so pickers wanted a place where people could play and sing and invite others to do just that. This dream was soon a bigger than life reality when Mr. Lanier Johnson and his wife Erie donated an old seed barn and the property. Many other people donated labor and money for the cause. The end result is a spectacular opry house that seats 250 people where bands from across Georgia, Alabama and Mississippi come to play.
Plenty of seating, pavilion, and lots of parking, makes Hollonville Opry the perfect place for a celebration.
Hollonville is located approximately 20 miles south of Atlanta and 10 miles west of Griffin GA. on Highway 362. For more information and a map, please go to their website at www.hollonvilleopry.com.
