The Southeastern Bluegrass Association and Historical Jonesboro will offer Jonesboro Jammin?, third Saturday jams, a series of bluegrass and old-time music jam sessions at the gazebo on the corner of King and N. McDonough streets, between the Masonic lodge and the law offices. The jam sessions are scheduled for Saturday afternoons July 17, August 21, and September 18, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. weather permitting. Attendance is free and members of Historical Jonesboro will be selling bottled water and soft drinks. Pickers, singers and listeners are encouraged to drop in, bring your instrument, a blanket or chairs and picnic baskets for a casual summer afternoon of cool music. These jams will be in addition to our usual second, third, and fourth Sunday monthly jams at Emory Presbyterian, the Fayetteville Depot and Stone Mountain Park.
The SEBA table will be set up near the gazebo. Please come by the table and check in when you arrive so that we will know who is attending and participating in the jams. Remember those dates again are the third Saturdays of July, August, and September. Let?s fill up downtown Jonesboro with SEBA members and jams.
