SEBA partners with the Union County Historical Society to showcases bluegrass music in Blairsville Ga. for third year in a row

Historic downtown Blairsville, Ga. Invites us once again to showcase bluegrass music and bands Friday and Saturday September 19, & 20, 2008. Partnering with the Union County Historical Society and the Blairsville Downtown Development Authority, this annual celebration of bluegrass as the music of the mountains continues to grow as a model for civic minded communities.

Bring the entire family; tell all your friends and neighbors as there’s no admission charge, but donations will be accepted; Shows start Friday evening at 6 to 11 PM in the Historic Union County Courthouse and again Saturday from 11 AM to 11 PM; with additional performances at the Mock House and Blairsville City Hall Saturday from 11 am to 6 PM.

Bluegrass jamming all around the downtown area; workshops on instruments, sound support, recording, & website design; raffle drawings throughout the day; plenty of food and refreshments as local eateries will extend hours during this event. Bring lawn chairs or blankets to enjoy the outdoor activities and don’t worry about the weather as an alternate site will be prepared nearby in case of rain.
