SEBA member and fiddling legend Bobby Hicks appears in concert with another fiddle legend Buddy Spicher on Saturday Dec. 13, 2008 at the Madison County Arts Center in downtown Marshall North Carolina, Hick’s home town. Hicks, a North Carolina native, puts on this annual Swing Concert event to benefit the Madison County Arts Council. Show starts at 8 pm advance tickets are recommended, $15.

Not only a definitive bluegrass fiddler, Hicks has also acquired fame as a swing fiddler. Spicher, a first class swing fiddler in his own right, has enjoyed a distinguished career which includes touring with Emmylou Harris and Crystal Gale. This star studded Swing Concert Benefit in it’s third year will also include special guests Phil and Gayle Johnson from the King Pup Radio show.

“Our workshop is designed to challenge intermediate and advance players covering a range of topics including, western swing, double stops, harmony (twin fiddle) and of course, a bluegrass tune or two!” Hicks said.
