Date Formats

Dates can be entered in any of the following formats, where "M" is month number (1-12), "D" is day number (1-31), and "Y" is year number. Except for Format #1, separators can be the slash (/), hyphen (-), dot (.) or space character, as long as all separator characters are the same. Bracketed symbols are optional.

• Format #1: YYYY-MM-DD
• Format #2: M[M]/D[D]/YY[YY]
• Format #3: M[M]/D[D] (where year is assumed to be current year)
• Format #4: MMDDYY[YY]
• Format #5: MMDD (where year is assumed to be current year)

Examples:

Assuming the current year is 2004, any of the following would be valid entries for June 30, 2004:
