Spatial Effects
About Spatial Effects
Spatial Effects is composed of Earl Brackin (mandolin and vocals), Tom
Brown (banjo and harmonica), David Crawford (guitar and vocals), all from
the North Georgia area, Betsy Blankenship (bass and vocals) of Apison,
Tennessee, and John Boulware of Kimball, Tennessee. The unique musical
fare of Spatial Effects sets them apart from traditional bluegrass bands.
The recipe for their brand of bluegrass music includes several degrees in
music, creativity, and a sometimes off the wall sense of humor. The band
has performed at a variety of venues in the Southeast, including the
Chattanooga Nightfall Concert Series, Riverbend, and numerous regional
bluegrass festivals. The band has opened for Mountain Heart, Claire Lynch,
Goose Creek Symphony, and the Lovell Sisters.
Proudly sponsored by Sassy Goat Milk Soap, Spatial Effects always leaves a
smile on the audiences faces with their slightly bent bluegrass. A typical
Spatial Effects performance combines traditonal and gospel with a good
dose of humor and social commentary.
Currently booking for 2011.
