Playin' Possum
About Playin' Possum
Bill and Sue Davis are a husband and wife bluegrass duo from Macon, Georgia
who call themselves "Playin' Possum". They have entertained crowds with
their traditional bluegrass and country gospel music since 1997. They
perform at fairs, festivals, conventions and private parties. They have
been street entertainers at the Georgia National Fair since the year 2000.
Whether doing stage shows or street entertainment, their high energy,
toe-tapping, old fashioned performances inspire audiences to clap their
hands, tap their toes and sing along. They have written and recorded their
own songs as well as traditional favorites. Together they produce a
dynamic sound for a two person act.
Sue is lead vocalist with the banjo as her main instrument. She also is a
skilled mandolin and guitar player.
Bill sings backup on most songs and plays rhythm guitar.
