If you've got the acting bug and play bluegrass, this gig might be for you.

Author: Tom Parham (Jan 19, 2004)

Stone Mountain Park is seeking adult performers who sing, dance and act to populate our 1870s town of Crossroads for our 2004
summer season. (There are a limited number of positions for high
school students 16+).

We are also seeking experienced improvisers, jugglers, magicians
and musical groups for our street troupe. Employment runs from
Memorial Day through mid August. Pay is hourly and ranges from
$8-$14 per hour. Rehearsals are paid. Average workday is 12 -
6 PM. Performers must be willing and able to work outdoors in
costume.

Please bring two copies of your head shot and resume. Actors
should prepare a one (1) minute comic monologue and 16 bars a
cappella from an upbeat song. Musical groups should come prepared
to play two contrasting pieces, each no more than two minutes
in length.

Auditions by appointment will be held at Stone Mountain Park
in Memorial Hall on Friday, February 20th from 2:00pm - 7:00pm
and Saturday, February 21st from 10:00am - 3:00pm.
